Please can members NOT transfer any money into the club account without prior arrangement for payments such as weekly swim fees, club kit and the 125 club.
The only time payments should be made into the account is when the option has been offered for example monthly standing orders, batch swimming lessons, membership and club champs etc. Other payments such as open meets can be made in exceptional circumstances however prior arrangement must be made with the treasurer first.
It is now becoming very time consuming trying to keep track, registering and balancing the unexpected payments.
Thank you for your cooperation, Kathryn – Treasurer
This year we are hoping to take a group of swimmers to Harvey Hadden to take part in the Festive Frenzy Open Meet on the 1st and 2nd December 2018.
If you think your swimmer may be interested and they are no faster than the published times please return your completed entry together with the correct cash or cheque to Jo Smith by 4th September. If you wish to pay by bacs please ensure you make prior arrangements with Kathryn.
more details including the times and entry form can be found below.
Unfortunately due to the continued increase in pool costs the Club is increasing its weekly and monthly swim fees for the main squad as from 1st September 2018. The development squad fees will remain as before.
Weekly swim fees will increase from £9.00 to £10.00 for a multi swim
and the single swim will remain at £5.00
The monthly standing order will also increase from £34.00 to £36.00 per month as from the 1st September.
If you feel it would be more beneficial to pay by monthly standing order please enquire at the club desk.
Thank you – The Executive Committee
Please can all swimmers refresh themselves with the code of conduct either they or their parent/guardian have signed to on their behalf.
As a Club we will not tolerate disrespectful behaviour towards coaches and other swimmers.
Disruptive (including regularly arriving late) and unruly behaviour whether in or out of the pool including outside the leisure centre will also not be tolerated.
If a swimmer behaves in this manner we will have no alternative but to restrict certain sessions and ask parents to stay and monitor the sessions they attend.
Can we also remind swimmers of the day to day rules that MUST be followed:-
- Treat your coach and fellow swimmers with respect.
- Make your coach aware if you have difficulties in attending training sessions as laid down for your squad.
- Arrive in good time on poolside before the training session starts to complete poolside warm up as directed by your coach.
- If you arrive late report to your coach before entering the pool.
- Ensure you have all your equipment with you, i.e. hats, goggles fins etc.
- If you need to leave the pool for any reason during training inform your coach before doing so.
- Listen to what your coach is telling you at all times and obey instructions given.
- Always swim to the wall as you do in a race, and practice turns as instructed.
- Do not stop and stand in the lane, or obstruct others from completing their training.
- Do not pull on the ropes as this may injure other swimmers.
- Do not skip lengths or sets – you are only cheating yourself.
Lets keep CFSC a happy and fun club for ALL our members whether swimming or volunteering.
Thank you – The Executive Committee
